Handling money is a boring task that involves a lot of concentration in order to obtain the right values. Any person who has worked in the accounting department of a company has made a mistake at least once when counting banknotes manually.
The use of automatic banknote counters has always been connected with banking. However, the technological developments of recent years have resulted in cheaper production costs and have favoured the creation of these devices for SMEs.
Thanks to these devices, you will be able to save time, avoid errors, create packets, make the content uniform, count, obtain total and partial values, classify and detect counterfeit notes.
•
Time. Significantly decrease the time needed. The speeds vary between 600 and 1600 notes per minute (depending on the model)
•
Error. Eliminate the margin of error involved in processing banknotes
•
Pauses. Make packets of banknotes by programming pauses (Batch function)Uniformity. Identify a different note within a group of otherwise identical notes
•
Count. Find out the number of banknotes
•
Totalise. Find out the number of banknotes, as well as the total and partial values of each type of note
•
Classify. Separate physically the banknotes by value
•
Detect. Detect counterfeit banknotes that may be in the packet to be processed
Now, there are many models. How can you choose the best one for your business? There are three groups of machines:
1. Banknote counters (S100 and S200) These carry out the time, error, pause, uniformity and count functions
2. Banknote value counters (S300 and S400) All the functions of the counters, plus the totalise function
Let's look at a practical example. A company needs to process a certain number of mixed notes to find out the value of those notes.
1. If a counter is used, then the banknotes must be separated manually before being put into the machine
2. With a value counter, it is possible to process them mixed and obtain the number of notes, the total value of all of them, and the partial values of each kind of note (number of 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5 notes). However, the notes will still be mixed
3. With a banknote separator, it is possible to obtain all the information noted above, along with the physical separation of the notes by value
Recommendations:
- Low workloads and occasional use, model S50
- Medium to high workloads, models S100 and S200 (use with banknotes sorted by value)
- High workloads, models S300 and S400 (with the banknote value counters, you will be able to process mixed banknotes of different values, find out the total value and the number of banknotes of each value)
A leader in the detection of counterfeit notes, we have banknote value counters and separators certified by the Bank of Spain and the European Central Bank with the 100% detection of counterfeits, models S200, S300 and S400.
